This is a pretty short story that I read in about an hour. It definitely held my interest as a retired detective pulled into a murder investigation figures everything out. The plot moves along quickly, the characters are surprisingly realistic and some are quite quirky as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this read!
This was an easy read. Not too dark, yet kept me interested. I will definitely read more from J.D. Rivers.
