About This Book
Ethan Cross is a self-made billionaire returning to Liberty Falls to sponsor the nation's biggest 250th Anniversary celebration. He has the money, the power, and a plan to prove he's more than the boy who left with nothing. The woman running the event is Olivia Bennett — the one he never forgot. The one whose father destroyed every letter he sent. She thinks he abandoned her. He knows the truth will change everything. Forced to work together for six months, the chemistry between them is immediate and explosive. Small-town whispers, meddling families, and buried secrets threaten to tear them apart before the fireworks even begin. But when the truth about her father's betrayal finally surfaces, Olivia must decide: hold onto twenty years of anger — or trust the man who never stopped loving her. An 86,000-word enemies-to-lovers billionaire romance with small-town charm, buried secrets, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
Editorial Review
“Xander Steele launches the Liberty Falls series with a powerhouse debut that blends billionaire ambition with small-town heart. Ethan Cross is the kind of hero who earns every ounce of redemption — a man who built an empire but never stopped looking back at the girl he left behind. Olivia Bennett is fierce, proud, and absolutely unwilling to be swept off her feet. Their chemistry crackles from page one, and the slow-burn revelation of her father's betrayal adds layers of emotional complexity that elevate this far above a standard romance. At 397 pages, the pacing is masterful — Steele knows exactly when to tighten the screws and when to let the tenderness breathe. The Fourth of July setting gives everything a patriotic sparkle, and the supporting cast of Liberty Falls residents adds warmth and humor. A stunning series opener.”
Perfect for: Fans of billionaire romance, enemies-to-lovers tension, and readers who love second-chance love stories set against small-town America.

I devoured this book in one sitting. Ethan and Olivia's chemistry is off the charts, and the twist about the letters had me in tears. Liberty Falls feels like a place I want to visit. Steele knows how to write a billionaire hero with actual depth. Cannot wait for Book 2!
The slow burn is exquisite. You feel every ounce of tension between Ethan and Olivia. The father's betrayal reveal is gut-wrenching and perfectly timed. The Fourth of July fireworks scene? I was sobbing. This is what romance should be.
Great debut for a new series. Ethan is swoon-worthy and Olivia is no pushover. The small-town setting adds so much charm. Lost half a star because I wanted just a bit more backstory on Ethan's rise to billionaire status, but the romance is absolutely top-tier.
If you love Colleen Hoover or Lauren Blakely, you NEED this book. Xander Steele writes with such emotional intelligence. The Henderson farmhouse scenes are beautiful, and that epilogue? PERFECT. Already pre-ordered Book 2.
